Maintaining Your Vessels

Vessels by 3 Scents Candles are Made for Candles and are Meant to be Reused and Repurposed. Below Please find your Vessel Style and Cleaning Instructions with some Helpful Tips to Enjoy Your Vessel Over & Over Again.

Although all Vessels by 3 Scents Candles are dishwasher safe - don't do it.

Ceramic Massage Cup & Egg: Never Push or Pull at your wick tab after it has been set. When your Candle is nearly finished, this is the optimal time to remove the wick tab.  Extinguish your Candle and if your wax is still hot use a nonabrasive push tool such as a wooden spoon or spatula to gently push the wick tab, it should release.  If the tab does not release, then simply scoop out your excess wax with a nonabrasive tool and soak the bottom of the vessel in hot water for a moment.  Use your push tool to try again. If you like you may add soap. Repeat as needed until that tab releases.  Handwash your Ceramics with a soft sponge and soap and reuse them however you like.

10oz Frosted Glass Collection:  Always handwash with soft sponge and soap to maintain the beautiful frosted finish.  When your candle is near finished I find the wick tab just pops right off if the wax is still hot.  I do this with a nonabrasive tool such as a mini wooden spoon or spatula so not to get hurt. If you miss the opportunity while the wax is hot - simply clean out your excess wax and soak your wick tab in hot water for a moment until it loosens up for you.

Epitome Candle Bowl Collection: Never Push or Pull at your wick tab after it has been set. This collection of bowls are painted on the inside.  If you scratch your inside paint your color will peel off when cleaning your vessel.  Handwash with soap and a soft sponge. When your candle is finished and the wax is still hot get a wooden spoon or silicone something to pop that tab loose.  It will just slide right out of place if the wax is hot.  If you miss the opportunity while the wax is hot, remove your excess wax and soak the wick tab for just for a moment in hot water and ever so gently remove that wick tab.  It will release without disrupting the paint if you take your time. Then you may reuse your bowl over and over and over again.

9oz Nomad Jars:   Remove your excess wax and wick tab with hot water or a wooden spoon with silicone something to pop the wick tab out of place.  You may soak the wick tab in hot water or you may pop off the tab when your candle is near finished.  Wash your Nomad Jars with a soft sponge and soap to maintain the beautiful finish.

When my candles are near finished I wipe out the excess wax with my wooden spoon wrapped in some paper towel. I reserve that paper towel with my wax for future fire starter making materials for my personal use.
